Research interests: protein folding, aggregation, complexes; proteomics; mass spectrometry of non-covalent interactions.
Group interests involve proteomic and structural protein studies with special focus on molecular complexes involved in the functioning of the neural system. We are using diverse biophysical methods to characterise these complexes. We develop new approaches to use mass spectrometry of non-covalent complexes to gain insight into weakly associating molecular entities - peptides and proteins. We are also involved in several proteomics projects, being responsible for identification of proteins of interest and characterisation of their post translational modifications. This activity is illustrated on IBB PAS, Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Lab page: http://poczta.ibb.waw.pl/~proteom/
